Eyachmuehle 14, Dobel
Excellent food and courteous and friendly service. There were four of us and everyone was very happy with the dish. All products were high quality and the portion sizes were more than adequate. If it weren't for that, I would definitely be a guest often.
It's a shame that the service was so curt, almost unfriendly. The food was mediocre because the taste was bland and carelessly presented. The dessert also sounded promising on the menu and was then a melted vanilla ice cream with cinnamon plums that didn't taste like cinnamon at all. Feedback in the direction was dismissed snippily. But since I know that there are also better days and nice conditions here, I will certainly try my luck in the Eyachmühle again.
The food is definitely one of the best. All dishes are regional and Demeter. The staff is also very friendly. Definitely worth eating here.
I discovered the Eyachmühle on my bike tours through the wild northern Black Forest. It is the top restaurant in the region (ok, I don't know all of them). Absolutely beautiful place, located directly on the Eyach. I was enthusiastic about the sustainability concept (organic quality produced by Demeter, monitored food). We went to eat on the terrace for the first time at the end of July. Both trout and vegetable strudel were excellent. Although the terrace was busy, the service was on the ball - the boss helped and kept an eye on the organization. At the end of August we returned as part of our Black Forest vacation. Because a heavy rainy day ruined our bike tour, we ate the goat's cheese tarte flambée and the leg of wild boar in the inn instead of on the terrace, along with the dry Elbling and the farmer's BioLimo (excellent). The tomato soup was also delicious and the salads were crisp and fresh, everything was very tasty - organic. Because of the sustainability, the service and the tasty food, you can only award 5 stars. Anecdote by the way: In July a very, very old and apparently very sick lady who was barely able to walk had to leave a table on the terrace and we had nothing against her sitting down with us. In conversation we learned that she was part of the resistance against the Eyachtal dam project in the 1980s. It was planned by the then state government of Späth under "Environment" Minister Weiser to dammed the Eyach in order to build a cooling water reservoir for the Neckarwestheim nuclear power plant. That's why this is her favorite place and she really wanted to be there again. This is intended to be a reminder for us, nature lovers and the “economy”, of the actions that some politicians support in the name of lobbying for criminal undertakings. And I want to show the youth that we too (at least some of us) were already resisting such projects considerably - even successfully in the case of the planned Wyhl nuclear power plant. So it is worthwhile to resist the destruction of the environment. Today many enjoy this unique nature or the Eyach trout in the beautiful Eyachmühle without knowing this. Today we are also looking for a repository for nuclear waste over 1,000,000 years.
High-quality food lovingly prepared and brought to the table with swing by the knowledgeable service. Top! :)
Exceptionally delicious food, well above average. Demeter products are important. Contactless payment is not only offered, but is also encouraged. It works fine even without an internet connection. Cash payments are of course also problem-free. What more could you ask for?
The quality of the food was very good and the service very friendly. Idyllic location.
Very delicious food, regional, organic, imaginative and delicious. Airy and cozy sitting on the large terrace. Plum cake on the tray looked good too. But not covered, so wasps sat on it again and again and the baking tray was too close to the bucket for the rag with which the tables are wiped. Therefore only 4 out of 5 points.

Excellent, friendly wait staff and a kitchen that only uses the best Demeter quality ingredients. An inn that leaves nothing to be desired.
The service was very rude, almost rude. The food was also only mediocre. We will definitely not come back again and unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant under any circumstances.
Very cozy terrace and friendly service. The kitchen always prepares something purely vegetable. Today it was a Mediterranean whirlpool. Delicious.

We were there after a long walk in the Eyachtal for dinner. I attach great importance to high-quality food and was therefore very pleased that meat of Demeter quality is offered. I like to pay more for that. There were some of my favorite dishes on the menu, so it was hard for me to choose. A reason to come back. Portions were decent and the service was all around.
Because the origin of the food is important to us, the restaurant and its philosophy convinced us. Wonderful quality, the very nice service & the beautiful terrace made the visit something special. We would love to come back & will make recommendations!
Organic ingredients plus earth rooted kitchen plus attentive service plus great location plus reasonable prices makes it a highly recommend place to be.

Inviting terrace, friendly service. Trout tart was good, dessert rather average. On the way to the toilet there is a surprise for children. The prices for meat and fish dishes were rather high.
Very good kitchen and very good friendly fast service. Organic meat. Crunchy salad with delicious dressing. Prices understandable. Great location in the quiet Eyachtal. All in all very recommendable.

Price performance is not right for me! Food looks visually good .... but unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired!
It was very nice and cozy on New Year's Eve. The food was delicious and the table very nice. I highly recommend it. :)
really great experience. friendly staff, had the Rostbraten with homemade spaetzle. ask for a few slices of bread to sop up the sauce at the end. my wife had the hirschbraten, also very good and tender (same sauce as the Rostbraten). Location is a bit off the beaten path. i think the place used to be an old timber mill. About 40 minutes from Karlsruhe, but well worth it. Homey atmosphere
Beautiful setting and a lovely restaurant. We both enjoyed our meals, generous serves and friendly service.
